Perched high above Los Angeles, Pierre Koenig’s Stahl House has long been celebrated as an icon of mid-century modern architecture and a symbol of the Hollywood dream. Built in 1959, its glass walls and daring cantilevered structure opened the home to sweeping views of the city, making it a backdrop for countless films, photographs, and stories of aspiration.

In Dreamscape, the villa is bathed in soft beige tones, with sunlight streaming through its transparent walls. The pool reflects both the architecture and the sky, while the hazy expanse of Los Angeles stretches into the horizon like a distant memory. The looseness of the water and background contrasts with the precise geometry of this modernist classic, blurring the line between reality and imagination.

Here, architecture and nature merge into a tranquil vision — a dreamlike oasis where structure, light, and atmosphere coexist in harmony. Through this work, I invite the viewer to pause and find a moment of stillness within the fast pace of modern life.
